Intel 14th Generation CPUs to Launch on October 17th

Videocardz reports from its sources that Intel plans to launch the 14th Generation of Core CPUs on the 17th of October. Raptor Lake Refresh CPUs have been on the horizon for a while, with their release drawing in closer as each day passes. Intel should officially reveal these CPUs during its upcoming Innovation Event on the 19th this month.

Intel to Launch 14th Generation CPUs on the 17th of October

As is reported, Team Blue will announce a number of different products at its Innovation Event. This includes the likes of Meteor Lake, possibly more Intel Arc GPUs and today’s topic of concern, the Raptor Lake Refresh series.

Videocardz claims that the CPU reviews will go live by the 16th, with the CPUs on shelves by the 17th of October. Videocardz’s sources have been quite accurate in the past, so we can express some confidence in this leak.

Notably, we will only see the unlockable ‘K-Series’ revealed first. This includes the kingpin i9-14900K, the mid-ranged i7-14700K and the budget-oriented i5-14600K, all of which can be overclocked. Moreover, the company, as usual, will also unveil the iGPU-less (KF-Series) counterparts of these CPUs.
