Record Exhibitor Numbers and Game Diversity
CESA has also elaborated on why the Tokyo Game Show 2023 is the biggest-ever show of the event’s history. As of September 4, a staggering 770 exhibitors have registered for the Tokyo Game Show 2023, marking the highest count in the event’s history.
Of these, 371 hail from Japan, including seven participating online, while 399 are international exhibitors, with 25 joining the event virtually. Alongside this impressive exhibitor list, the physical venue will house 2,684 (almost 2700) exhibition booths, indicating great anticipation for the event after a four-year hiatus.
Moreover, a total of 1,762 game titles have been registered for exhibition, representing a wide spectrum of gaming genres. From highly anticipated new releases to esports titles, augmented reality/virtual reality games, and even blockchain games, Tokyo Game Show 2023 will cater to a diverse audience across various platforms, including home game consoles, smartphones, and PCs.
The event will not only showcase the latest games but also hardware and furniture designed to enhance the gaming environment, as well as solutions for game-related businesses.
The final list of game titles, along with exhibitor booth details and event schedules, will be unveiled on September 21, the first day of the Tokyo Game Show 2023.
