Sony Xperia 1V Renders Surface Online Ahead of Launch

The Sony Xperia 1V, the highly anticipated successor to the Xperia 1 IV, is set to be launched soon, and the first renders of the device have been leaked online. The leaks have generated a lot of excitement and buzz among smartphone enthusiasts, as they offer a glimpse of what to expect from the upcoming device.

OnLeaks, a well-known leaker, teamed up with greensmartphones to release the renders. Sony’s Xperia 1V immediately stands out due to its attractive design. There are hardly any bezels around the device, giving it a modern and stylish look. It also looks as if Sony has stuck with their 21:9 aspect ratio. This gives the device a sophisticated look, making it a great option for those who care about both form and function. The vertical camera hump houses three lenses, just like the original Xperia 1 IV.

When compared to the Xperia 1 IV, the phone’s earphone jack, camera shutter button, and indented power button with built-in fingerprint reader remain unchanged. The phone’s volume rocker is located on the same side as the power button, and a USB Type-C port sits in the middle of the phone’s bottom, next to the SIM card slot. In addition, Sony is probably going to use the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip found in the brand-new Samsung Galaxy S23. On the other hand, the Xperia 1 V is said to have 16GB of RAM, making it twice as powerful as the S23.

Another standout feature is the triple camera setup on the back of the Sony Xperia 1V. It is said that the smartphone has excellent photographic capabilities, enabling users to easily capture photographs that are on par with those captured by high-end smartphones (hopefully). It might have a primary lens with 12 megapixels, a secondary ultrawide lens with 48 megapixels, and a telephoto lens with 12 megapixels.

Overall, the phone looks to carry on the same design language from Sony’s old phones, however this time, performance will be the most important aspect to look forward to with these phones, as the camera setup also doesn’t look too intriguing. Till the phone releases, we will keep you updated as new information becomes available.
