Samsung Chooses to Taunt Apple Ahead of its iPhone 14 Release

Apple and Samsung have been competing against one another for a very long time, and even though Apple is set to introduce the iPhone 14 later this year, it is reasonable to predict that Samsung will try to compete with Apple again.

By producing an advertisement, Samsung has made it clear that it intends to continue making fun of Apple. “Buckle Up,” a brand-new commercial from Samsung US’s official YouTube channel, highlights all the cutting-edge capabilities of the Galaxy S22 Ultra and the Galaxy Z Flip 4. The Galaxy S22 Ultra’s 108-megapixel camera, the Galaxy Z Flip 4’s foldable design, and the S22 Ultra’s incredible moon photos are all highlighted in the advertisement. The future iPhone will not have access to the functions.

“This invention is not coming to an iPhone near you,” reads the tagline in Samsung’s advertisement. Overall, it is reasonable to say that the video does throw shade at Apple’s low-res cameras that the company has been offering for iPhone for a while. The video also notes that Galaxy phones already have these functions.

This isn’t the first time Samsung has attacked Apple. It has often made fun of Apple, notably the iPhone X’s notch and the company’s choice to remove the headphone port, among other things. However, it is reasonable to infer that Apple and Samsung are engaged in a friendly rivalry rather than being hostile to one another at all.

Apple is set to release its new lineup for iPhone 14 on September 7 in its exclusive “Far Out” Event. Samsung recently unveiled its Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 in its “Unpacked Event.” It is promising to see how the “friendly” rivalry emerges in the future.
