CD Projekt Red Reveals Major Content Update for Phantom Liberty in New Trailer

The opening night of Gamescom has been full of surprises, and during the event, CD Projekt RED has released a new trailer for Cyberpunk 2077’s Phantom Liberty DLC. The trailer gives us a bit of a closer look at some of the new features that will be making its way to the expansion.

To start off, a new district is added to Night City, called Dogtown. Dogtown is a rundown district that houses various sorts of criminal and gang activities. In the expansion, players will have to investigate a mysterious incident that has taken place in this district, and they will need to use all of their skills and abilities to succeed.

The trailer also showcases some of the new vehicle combat that will be featured in Phantom Liberty. Players will be able to control a number of different vehicles, remotely, including cars, motorcycles, and boats, and will be able to shoot while sitting in one of these vehicles.

In addition to the new content, Phantom Liberty will also introduce a number of new gameplay features, including a revamped police system and an improved UI. The expansion will also allow players to respec their character without having to restart the game.

Other than these new features, CDPR also announced that a number of the new features will be coming to the base game of Cyberpunk 2077 completely free of charge.
