11Bit Studios Confirms The Invincible Release Date, Set to Release on November 6th
The upcoming action-adventure game The Invincible, developed by Starward Industries (Publisher: 11Bit Studios), finally has a release date. According to the latest release date reveal trailer for the game, The Invincible will be released on November 6th, 2023, for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
About The Invincible
The game takes ideas from the sci-fi book The Invincible by Stanisław Lem, but it’s not exactly the same. The story is similar, and some characters return, but most of the main characters are new. The art style is inspired by Atompunk looks and Soviet designs for spaceships and tools from the past.
In The Invincible, you play as Yasna, a crew member on the ship Invincible. Yasna has to search the planet Regis III to find her missing crewmates and deal with a mysterious danger. She has tools like a scanner and a handheld telescope to help her find things and stay alive in the strange world. The game is all about the story and the choices you make. Yasna gets help from Novik, the ship’s guide, as she explores Regis III.
The game is like Alien: Isolation in that there’s a mystery enemy controlled by a computer. But it’s not just a horror game; it’s more about suspense and emotions. The team took inspiration from the adventure game Firewatch to develop In-game character interactions in The Invincible.
They got ideas from Road 96 too, which is a more mature and thought-provoking adventure RPG. The director of the game says the story is slow but intense, with a mix of bitterness and hope for the future.
