Assassin’s Creed Mirage Has Gone Gold, Releasing 1 Week Sooner Than Expected

October is a packed month for games with highly anticipated titles like Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Alan Wake 2, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and Assassin’s Creed Mirage spread all across the month. So, it is a practical decision from Ubisoft to release Assassin’s Creed Mirage a bit earlier than Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, so that it does not get overshadowed by it.

It is undoubtedly great news for the devoted Assassin’s Creed fans who are eagerly awaiting Assassin’s Creed Mirage. Ubisoft has promised that this one is going to be a classic Assassin’s Creed experience, different from the more recent AC games that have overpowering RPG elements. The gameplay in Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be more focused on stealth and close combat, as in the traditional AC games.

And if that’s not giving you the nostalgic kick, Ubisoft has got you covered with its optional blue filter in Assassin’s Creed Mirage to match the color grading of the original AC games. Besides that, it will take only 20-24 hours to complete the game, and 25-30 hours if you go for a complacent run. The OGs know that it’s a sweet spot for a traditional AC game to take 20-30 hours to beat.

However, there was negative press regarding Assassin’s Creed Mirage as well recently after a rumor started circulating on the internet that the game will have microtransactions via cosmetic bundles. Ubisoft has since clarified that these bundles will be completely optional and will not impact your gameplay experience in any way.

Nevertheless, there is a lot of hype and expectations for Assassin’s Creed Mirage, as it promises to bring back memories for the fans. Now, Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be available a week earlier on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, on 5th October 2023.
