Gameplay from Assassin’s Creed Jade Beta Has Started to Appear Online

Gameplay footage from Assassin’s Creed Jade closed Beta has started to appear online, posted on the subreddit r/GamingLeaksAndRumours by the user Lolcatp. According to the user, the gameplay and mechanics of Assassin’s Creed Jade look and feel good despite playing it on Google Pixel 7, which is not a gaming phone but still features Google’s latest Tensor G2 chip, making it fairly capable.

The user also reveals that the beta version lacks graphical settings, forcing players to use default graphic settings. As for the leaked gameplay, it showcases combat and ‘assassinations’ in the game. Kassandra, one of the main protagonists from Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, can also be seen with the AC Jade’s protagonist, guiding them as they quietly take care of enemies.

In addition to this, a complete 2-hour-long walkthrough of Assassin’s Creed Jade was uploaded to YouTube but was subsequently removed by Ubisoft. The leaked gameplays are watermarked with players’ UIDs which would help Ubisoft track down the leakers.

Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade is the first open-world Assassin’s Creed game for iOS and Android platforms. Set in Ancient China during 215 B.C., players take on the role of Xia, a new assassin, as they protect their homeland of Xionanu and experience the cultural exchanges of East and West Xianyang.

The gameplay will have core Assassin’s Creed mechanics, including parkour, climbing, and combat, along with Xia’s unique arsenal of Chinese spears, double swords, and bows. The game’s customization feature will allow players to create their own assassin’s appearance.
